Used book sale at Macedon Public Library

MACEDON - A used book sale, sponsored by Friends of the Macedon Public Library, will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 24 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25 in the community room at the Macedon Public Library at 30 Main St.

The sale will feature donated volumes, both fiction and non-fiction, sorted by author and subject matter into more than 20 categories, including children's and young adult books, history, adventure, science fiction, romance, self-help, etc. Cost for most hardcovers is $1; most paperbacks 50 cents.

From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, shoppers can buy a bag-of-books of their selection, for $3.

There will also be a Collector's Corner, featuring special books at attractive prices. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Friends Endowment for the Macedon Public Library.

Donations of used books are always accepted at the library. No old textbooks, 'Reader's Digest' condensed books, anything moldy or mildewed can be accepted.
