Animal cruelty awareness seminar April 25 ALTON - Cracker Box Palace offers an animal cruelty awareness seminar from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at Cracker Box Palace Farm Animal Haven at Alasa Farms at 6450 Shaker Road in Alton. Learn more about animal cruelty cases, including how it happens and what can be done to correct the problem. Also covered will be how Cracker Box Palace handles cruelty cases referred to them. Presenters will include Wayne County Humane Society Executive Director Mark Plyter, Animal Cruelty Investigator Bob Howard, large animal veterinarians and the Cracker Box Palace large animal rescue team.
