The Troubadour Harper in concert

PALMYRA: Guest artist Thom Dutton, Cape Cods award-winning Troubadour Harper, will present Songs of Irish Emigration, a Celtic music concert, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22 at Zion Episcopal Church at 120 E. Main St. in Palmyra.

This year's concert will feature songs that tell the stories of the Irish emigrating Ireland and coming to the United States.

Dutton, a Palmyra native who has lived at Cape Cod for more than 20 years, began playing the harp in 1987 and has since performed more than 1,000 performances in churches, coffeehouses and concert halls throughout New England and New York. He has also performed in Wales, England and in the pubs of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Duttons newest CD, A Garden Concert, with the Pilgrim Celtic Harp Trio, as well as his other recordings and books, will be available at the concert.

Suggested donation is $5 at the door. For more information, call 597-4941.
