NEWARK: For the 10th year, the Newark Varsity Club took a trip to the DeMay Living Center Dec. 17. Members of the club purchased and delivered gifts for 30 residents and sang Christmas carols throughout the center. The club consists of a group of varsity athletes who have achieved at least two varsity letters and who maintain an 80 cumulative average or better. This years officers are: Bob Hauf, president; Alyssa Henkel, vice president; Danielle Bailey, secretary; Taylor Sittig, treasurer; varsity club operations, Chris Martin.
