Registration for youth football and cheerleading league

PALMYRA: The Palmyra-Macedon Youth Football and Cheerleading League is gearing up for its 38th season of silver and black action. The league will hold open registration Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Palmyra Community Center.

Returning participants can sign up from 8 to 10 a.m., new members from 10 a.m. to noon.

Registration is open to anyone between the ages of 6 and 15, as of Aug. 1, 2009. Participants must reside in the towns of Palmyra, Macedon, Marion, Walworth and Gananda.

The league's annual meeting is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2 at the Palmyra Community Center. Anyone is welcome to attend.
