Neighborhood watch reorganizes

LYONS: The Lyons Civic Club, Inc. will hold a reorganizational meeting for the Lyons neighborhood watch program at the Presbyterian Church social hall at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21.

The program is designed to enhance neighborhood security, heighten the community's power of observation and encourage mutual assistance and concern among neighbors. The Lyons police department, with the help of the civic club, will work to meet with community members, discuss community concerns, develop an action plan and reactivate this program.
