Wayne ARC aids humane society

LYONS: Wayne ARC staff members Bonnie Reitz, David Hammond, Karin Young, Mel Austin, Missy Wager, Diana Smith, Kelly Bates and Pat Roberts organized a Holiday Open House and Bake Sale to benefit the Wayne County Humane Society.

Staff members donated food, litter, newspapers and $300 in cash to the humane society. Additionally, the dog visiting that day found a loving home and was adopted.

Wayne ARC, with offices and residences throughout Wayne County, employs over 650 staff that provide services and support for 1,600 individuals of all ages annually with developmental disabilities and their families.
