Motorcycle club donates NEWARK: The Rochester RAMS Motorcycle Club of Rochester made the holidays brighter for the families at the Roosevelt Children's Center in Newark. Donations were made by the RAMS in memory of Rich Richardson, who belonged to the group and worked as a teacher of the visually impaired at the Roosevelt Center. Richardson passed away in 2002. Since then, the RAMS have donated each year to the center in his memory. This year, with the donation, Roosevelt Children's Center was able to provide more than 25 families with toys, books and games. The RAMS also made a generous monetary donation, which helped provide several families with food and clothing. Roosevelt Children's Center, a division of Wayne ARC, provides a variety of educational and clinical services to children, ages birth to 5 years and their families, throughout Wayne county. Wayne ARC, commonly associated with Wayne county or the Newark DDSO, is a private, not-for-profit organization. For more information, call 331-7741 or visit www.waynearc.org. Copyright
