Taylor appointed director
at Newark-Wayne Hospital

NEWARK: John Taylor, of Fairport, has been appointed director of engineering and facility support services for Newark-Wayne Community Hospital/DeMay Living Center.

His responsibilities include project coordination and management of the engineering and facilities support departments: housekeeping, maintenance, and safety and security; daily operations of the buildings and grounds; safety and security policies, procedures and emergency plans, including all federal, state and community-wide representation; and long-term capital improvement projects.

Previously, Taylor was supervisor of engineering services at PACTIV Corporation in Canandaigua.

He has a masters degree in management science from the University of Central Texas and a bachelor's in physics-engineering from Loyola College.
