


Firefly concert series at Williamson Free Public Library

Bands will play at the Firefly Concert Series at the Williamson Free Public Library on Wednesdays in July.
WILLIAMSON - The Firefly Concert Series, sponsored by Friends of the Library and the library board of trustees, will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesdays from July 8 to July 29 on the patio stage in front of the Williamson Free Public Library, located at 6380 Route 21. The shows will go on rain or shine. The following bands are slated to appear:

July 8 - Small Town - rocks with music from the 70's to today. Mike Dornberger, Joe Passamonte, Harry Ford and Kevin Hart, all former members of Rochester's Perfect World, will get toes tapping.

July 15 - It's My Party! - is Manager John Giotto's brainstorm to bring back the innocence and enthusiasm of a sixties girl band. It consists of a trio of girl singers backed by an eight-piece orchestra. It's always a party on the Patio Stage with It's My Party!

July 22 - Footnote - is a contemporary jazz-rock fusion quartet formed in 2007. Jon Tucker, Keith Welch, Jon Greeno and Herb Renke compose, record and perform their own high-energy sound. Their debut CD, 'Common Ground,' has been well-received in the music world.

July 29 - Bonnie and Collide - is Rochester region's newest hard driving blues and R&B band, playing traditional favorites along with today's best of the genre. Bonnie M, along with Mickey D, Pete Herrmann, Mark Herrmann and Lou Allen, will crank up some smokin' blues. Refreshments will be available.
