'Old Bags of Wayne County'
is hot off the press

LYONS - The Wayne County Historical Society's Museum of Wayne County History's latest fundraiser is a 14-month 2010 calendar featuring 15 mature women from Wayne County posing strategically behind museum artifacts.

'Old Bags of Wayne County' made its debut July 10 to 12 during Peppermint Days in Lyons.

The price of the calendar is $15 with tax and is on sale at the museum gift shop, the Galen Historical Society, the Walworth Historical Society, the Apple Crate in Williamson, En Vogue Salon in Newark, Chez Suzette Salon & Spa in Newark, Naomi's Salon Hipnotiq in Sodus and Konstantinou's Liquor in Ontario.

Lyons photographer Denise Eaton donated her services to the project. Featured in the calendar are: Mary Ann Bliek, Williamson; Diana Mourey, Arcadia; Dorothy Wiggins, Butler; Bev Marvin, Macedon; Beth Hoad, Palmyra; Larry Ann Evans, Lyons; Liz Bavis, Walworth; Helen Wright, Savannah; Sherry Godkin, Galen; Marsha Fuller, Ontario; Kathi Marshall, Wolcott; Janet Wunder, Sodus; Alice Latin, Rose; Fumie Thorpe, Huron; Carolyn Adriaanson, Marion.
