Wonders of Nature preview at Victorian Tea

NEWARK - The Wayne County Council for the Arts third annual Victorian Tea and Wonders of Nature art reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 11 at Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast at 310 High St. in Newark.

The event will provide a preview of selected pieces from the Wonders of Nature exhibit that will be on display at the gallery from June 12 through July 3.

Refreshments offered at the reception. Attendees can view artwork, while walking among flowers. Event will be held rain or shine. If weather is inclement, reception will move indoors.

Victorian Tea and Wonders of Nature is a fundraising event for Wayne Arts. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at Wayne Arts at 108 West Miller St. in Newark or by calling Wayne Arts at 331-4593. Gallery hours are from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Artists entering work in the Wonders of Nature exhibit should bring their art to Wayne Arts from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6. This is a juried show. Entry fee is $15 for up to three items.
