Softball showdown in Newark

NEWARK - Finger Lakes Nitros 14U girls fast pitch softball presents its second annual Finger Lakes Summer Showdown Amateur Softball Association Tournament on June 19 to 22. The tournament will be held on Frey and Ross fields on Frey Street in Newark. Eight teams from across the Finger Lakes area will be competing. Games will be played all day on Saturday and Sunday with concessions available. Nitros sponsors for the 2009 season are: AECC/Mike Muscolino, Q's Lawn and Landscape, Country Clipper, Ernie's Auto Detail, BB'S Pizzeria, Arcadia Sports & Awards, Ester's Bait Farm, Wren Electrical & Contracting, Newcut Inc, Lyons Rod & Gun Club, Winfield Solutions, E & M Gaming and The Quality Inn.
