Alloway picnic June 28

LYONS - The annual Alloway picnic, a tradition since the early 1920s, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at the home of Amelia Engels at 377 Water St.

Bring your own table service and a dish to pass. Beverages will be provided. Present and past residents, as well as friends are invited to an afternoon of food, fun and conservation.

Jerry Ashley, director of the Lyons Main Street Program will be the guest speaker.

Historic Alloway is two miles south of Lyons on Route 14.
