Fiddlers, jam session and ice cream social
fiddlersof the genesee

Fiddlers of the Genesee perform.

ONTARIO - Fiddlers of the Genesee will perform from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11 at Heritage Square Museum at Brick Church Corners at 7147 North Ontario Center.

Bring a chair or blanket and spend an afternoon listening to the Fiddlers play traditional, old-time American fiddle music, such as 'Turkey in the Straw,' 'Tennessee Waltz,' 'Irish Washerwoman' and more from New England, the Appalachian Mountains and other rural areas.

Bring a musical instrument for the old-time fiddlin' jam session from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. The Fiddlers were established in 1991 and currently have more than 100 members.

An ice cream social is also scheduled.

Parking is $4.

Heritage Square Museum hours are: from June 6 to October 4, Saturday to Sunday from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Closed July 4 and Labor Day weekends.
