Fishing lure club hosts show

PALMYRA - Region I of the National Fishing Lure Collectors Club will hold its annual show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21 at the Palmyra Inn at 955 Canandaigua Road. The public is welcome to attend. Free appraisals are available. Admission, by temporary membership is $5 a person. Children under 12 are free. Tackle collectors from the Northeast and Canada will gather to exhibit some of the finest antique fishing tackle, rods, decoys, reels and memorabilia, including advertising pieces, minnow buckets, boxes and art.

The organization was formed to educate the public on the history and artifacts related to fishing. It promotes the collection and verification of antique fishing materials.
