Bluegrass band Nothin' Fancy headlines at third annual bluegrass concert in Sodus.

SODUS - Sodus Rotary presents the third annual bluegrass concert from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at the Sodus Central School auditorium, featuring Nothin' Fancy. This year's concert will once again open with Webster's hot new fiddling sensation, Kate Lee.

Nothin' Fancy was formed Sept. 1994 for the purpose of competing in the East Coast Bluegrass Championship in Crimora, Virginia. Since their auspicious debut, they have grown in popularity, released seven full length albums and one CD single, played Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Lincoln Center in New York City, the Birchmere in Alexandria Virginia. They also have their own festival in Buena Vista, Virginia, which is now in its seventh year.

Nothin' Fancy is signed to North Carolina-based Pinecastle Records. With them they have released three recordings, 'Once Upon A Road', 'Reflections' and 'Album No. 7', as well as a Chris Sexton solo project, 'Coffee at Midnight'.

Kate Lee with No Strings Attached opened for Rhonda Vincent during the 2007 Sodus bluegrass concert. She was such a crowd pleaser, that the Sodus Rotary invited her back. With the backing of some seasoned Rochester musicians, she is returning and will sing a few tunes from her brand new CD titled 'On Your Way'.

This year's bluegrass concert is reserved seating only and limited to 600 people. Cost for the first five front row seats is $35. All other seats are $25.

Doors open at 5 p.m. For more information, call Doug Taylor at (585) 313-1090 or e-mail dtsoduspt@aim.com.
