Apple Blossom committee announces 2009 theme

WILLIAMSON - Williamson Apple Blossom Festival committee is happy to announce the theme for 2009, '50 Years of Apple Blossom - Thanks for the Memories. '

Since this is the 50th year of the festival, the committee is asking that anyone with memories of past festivals share them with the committee. Suggestions are also being sought concerning past festival events that should be revisited.

Memories and suggestions can be posted on the Web site, www.Williamsonappleblossom.com. Or, mail pictures, memories and suggestions to P.O. Box 206 at Williamson 14589.

The committee also asks that anyone who is storing festival property contact them, since they are compiling a complete list of items that can be used in current and future events.

The 2009 Williamson Apple Blossom Festival is slated to run from May 14 through 17.
