Hospital sponsors lecture on colorectal cancer

NEWARK - Dr. Mohamed Alsalahi will speak on 'Colorectal Cancer: What You Should Know' Thursday, March 26 at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital in the cafeteria.

Colorectal cancer can often be detected and treated if it is caught in the earliest stages. Gastro-esophageal reflux disease, a common problem associated with aging, is also associated with an increased risk of esophageal cancer. But, risk for esophageal and colorectal cancer can be reduced by early detection.

Light heart healthy refreshments will served.

Registration is at 5:30 p.m. Program starts at 7 p.m. sharp.
