Democratic Committee endorses Burkwit

LYONS - The Wayne County Democratic Committee met at the steps of the Wayne County Court House Sunday, March 15 to announce their endorsement of Charles F. Burkwit, attorney, as their candidate for Wayne County Court judge.

Burkwit of Pultneyville, has practiced law for 13 years in regional Justice, County and Supreme Courts, Appellate Division Fourth Department, Court of Claims, Federal District Court and Bankruptcy Court. His wife Carol and father, Robert L. Burkwit, also a local practicing attorney and members of the Democratic Committee gathered to support Burkwit, as he began his campaign to replace retiring Justice Stephen Sirkin.
