championship game Saturday night, working on a 38-22 halftime lead.
Albertus Magnus climbed back into the game in the second half but in the
end, Newark had a lead and kept it, winning the state crown 75-68.
NEWARK'S
SPEED AND POWER were evident in the state semifinal when the Lady Reds
destroyed a decent Floral Park squad, 53-37. Floral Park's Danielle
Donohue is about to eat some floor as she tries to keep pace with a
rapidly accelerating Alyssa Fenyn.
