Red Cross community classes offered

NEWARK - The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer the following community classes during the months of May and June:

  • May 13, 6-10 p.m., Instructor Training No. 1.
  • May 16, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Instructor Training No. 2.
  • May 18 and 20, 6-10 p.m., Instructor Training Nos. 3 and 4.
  • May 28, 6-10 p.m., Adult, Infant and Child CPR review.
  • June 3 and 4, 6-10 p.m., Responding to Emergencies.
  • June 6, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Adult, Infant and Child CPR.
  • June 8 through 12, 4-10 p.m. Lifeguard Training at Newark High School pool.
  • June 20, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Adult, Infant and Child CPR/AED.
  • June 30 and July 1, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Babysitters' Training.

All classes are held at the Red Cross Chapter House at 400 S. Main St. in Newark, unless otherwise stated. Pre-registration is required for all classes. For more information, pricing or to register, call the Red Cross at 331-3783 or e-mail waynehss@rochester.rr.com.
