Williamson historian shares local history

Chet Peters, Williamson's town historian, returns to the 'Sandwiched In' program of the Friends of the Williamson Library on Wednesday, May 20.

Peters was recently recognized by the town on his 90th birthday for his many years of serving the community by recording its history.

The program will begin at noon in the library's community room. Lunches are optional and may be reserved by calling the library at 589-2048 by 8 p.m. Monday, May 18.

Anyone interested in learning more about Williamson's history is invited.
