Breakfast with Lighthouse Aglow NEWARK - Lighthouse Aglow hosts a breakfast buffet at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Building at 1581 Route 88 North, with worship, prayer, ministry and special speaker, who will share testimonies of how God changed her life. Admission is free. A love offering will be accepted. Guest speaker will be Robin Lessord, who was born the only child of two unsaved parents, who divorced early on. She, too, is divorced and has personally experienced both the parent's and child's side of divorce. Lessord has seen the Lord walk her through abuse from a family member, as well as a husband. Through his guidance and provision, she was able to remove herself and her children from these circumstances. Having been through these experiences, Lessord has culminated a passion to reach hurting people, especially children in unsaved homes, with the hope of the Gospel by participation in various community outreaches, teaching Bible Club/release time religious instruction in Kelly, Lincoln and Perkins schools, as well as leading children's church at a local fellowship and neighborhood Bible studies. Additionally, she bears a burden for the lost, tending to their spiritual, physical and emotional needs, one on one, as the Lord allows. In 2004 she published a book, 'Put On Your Own Oxygen Mask First,' as a tool to reach unsaved single parents. RSVP by Wednesday, May 20 by calling Dottie at 331-0788, Pat at 310-7030 or e-mail newarkaglow@rochester.rr.com. Copyright
