Fairville Fire Department's carnival, May 28, 29, 30

FAIRVILLE - Fairville Fire Department's carnival is scheduled for May 28, 29 and 30 at the fire department grounds at 2963 Route 88 North.

The line-up Thursday includes a Dollar Night from 6 to 9 p.m.; rides; hot dogs, pop, pizza, fried dough; a prince and princess pageant at 5 p.m. with entry classes including newborn to 10-year-old. Friday includes a parade at 7 p.m.; midway opens at 6 p.m.; clams, clam chowder, Philly cheese steak and ice cream at Fire Department Explorers' booth.

On Saturday the midway opens at 1 p.m. Rides are offered from 1 to 5 p.m. for $12. After 5 p.m., regular prices apply. The Explorers will again offer clams, clam chowder, Philly cheese steak and ice cream. Fireworks are scheduled for 10:30 p.m., weather permitting. A bike raffle is slated for 5:30 p.m.

A ladies cake booth raffle with cake wheel will spin both Friday and Saturday nights.
