Click it or ticket in full swing Law enforcement agencies across New York are in the midst of a two-week buckle up campaign. The annual seat-belt enforcement campaign began Monday and will continue through May 31. State police across New York are taking part in the campaign. Local law enforcement departments are also participating by staffing safety-restraint checkpoints and patrols.
New York state law requires that all front-seat occupants wear seat belts regardless of age. All rear-seat passengers under age 16 must be properly buckled. Copyright
