Daniel and Dorothy O’Coyne of Clifton Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly O’Coyne, to Joseph Huss, son of Thomas and Mary Huss of Ontario.

The bride-to-be is a 1996 graduate of Midlakes High School, a 2000 graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and secondary education certification in social studies and a 2005 graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport with a master’s degree in world history. She is employed at Eastridge Senior High School, where she teaches global studies, sociology and psychology. She also coaches girls varsity tennis.

The future groom is a 1992 graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is employed as a warehouse manager and logistics engineer and oversees North American operations for XPS USA. He is also the owner of Huss Homes, a commercial and residential real estate leasing and development company.

An August 2010 wedding is planned.
