Burm, Edward - Edward L. Burm, 69, of Newark died May 9, 2008. He was born October 19, 1938 in Sodus, son of Peter and Rose Francisco Burm. He was a roofing contractor, had been self-employed, and worked for Graybill & Jackson Burm Co. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Sapp) Burm; four daughters, Angel Burm of Palmyra, Teresa Burm of Geneva, Lori (Paul) Walter of Clyde, Amanda Pilozzi of Lyons; three sons, Edward L. Burm II of Rochester, James DeJohn of Lyons, and Joe (Whitney) Pilozzi of Newark; three brothers, Peter of Newark, Joseph of Canandaigua, LaVerne of Lyons; a sister, Marjorie (Jerry) DeRuyter of Fort Lauderdale; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandson, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are today, May 12 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8 at Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home, 103 Maple Court, Neark, where funeral service will follow calling hours. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery. Waeghe, Edwin - Edwin J. Waeghe, 88, of Sodus died May 9, 2008. Edwin is survived by his wife Elizabeth, son Russell (Nancy) Waeghe, daughter Barbara (Ronald) Virts; step- children Rev. Gary (Peg) Bryden, Dave (Judie) Lenkiewicz, Tim (Loretta) Cummings, Tom (Pam) Bryden; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Edwin was predeceased in 1994 by his first wife Johanna, brother August and sister Helen. Edwin was a World War II Army Veteran, having served as a Staff Sergeant with the 236th Quartermaster Company, was Past Commander of Marion American Legion Post #1430, and had worked for many years at the former Hallman Chevrolet in Rochester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday (May 15) at St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church in Marion. Interment with military honors will be at the Marion Cemetery. Johnson, Evelyn - Evelyn Ring Cummings Johnson, 76, of Canandaigua, died May 8, 2008 in Canandaigua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13 at St. Michael's Church, 325 South Main Street, Newark. Burial will follow in Newark Cemetery. She was born August 22,1931, in Newark, daughter Frederic and Margaret Parys Ring. After graduating from Newark High School in 1949, Evie left her hometown to pursue a job in modeling. This led her to an exciting and adventure-filled career as a flight attendant for Colonial Airlines. She left the airlines to marry and raise her family in Waltham, MA. Following the untimely death (1972) of her first husband, Willis A. Cummings, she reentered to the work force as a secretary, first for the Plympton Elementary School in Waltham and then the Learning Prep School in Newton, MA. In 1998, she married her long-time friend Roger L. Johnson, Sr., and spent her remaining years residing in Canandaigua. She had a creative and artistic mind that loved beautiful things and had an eye for fashion and interior decorating. She was most at peace at home with her husband Roger, surrounded by her gardens, wild birds and beautiful views of her beloved Canandaigua Lake. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Roger; her children Laura R. Cummings (William) of Millbury, MA, Kenneth M. Cummings of Newark, and Stuart W. Cummings of Boulder, CO; step-children Jacqueline A. Johnson and Roger L. (Carol) Johnson, Jr. of Newark; grandsons Steven W. Cummings and William M. Fennelly; six step-grandchildren; her sister MaryJane Burke of Richmond, VA; her godchild Dianna Irby (Robert); nieces and nephews.

Swartz, Hazel - Hazel May Swartz, 99, died peacefully on May 6, 2008, at the Newark Manor, just a month shy of her 100th birthday. She was born June 6, 1908 in Newark, to Frederick and Emma Hollowbeck Allen. She was a 1926 graduate of Newark High School. She worked at Superior Body Sales for many years as a secretary. She taught Sunday School at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She was a great nature lover and enjoyed flowers, bird watching and walking. She is survived by her son Richard (Carol) Swartz of Greece; grandchildren Craig (Peg) of Webster, Bart (Trina), Clinton (Laura) and Lorie Hayes all of Greece; great grandchildren Lisa, Stacie, Cody, Jennifer, Eric Swartz and Heather Hayes; sister Betty Ahrans of Newark; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in 1987 by her husband, Franklin J. Swartz; and by brothers Marion and Bob Allen, sisters Esther Frantz and Evelyn Evans. Calling hours are May 9 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Norman L. Sermon, Emma Jean - Emma Jean Sermon, 86, formerly of Sodus, died May 3, 2008 in Asheboro, North Carolina. She was predeceased by her parents, loving husband Howard; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by daughter Pat Myers; son Edwin (Sherrill) Sermon, grandchildren; Teresa (Ralph) Shaffer, Jeff Myers, Kristian Myers, Jonathan (Sheila) Sermon, Kristin Bowden, Sean (Betty) Sermon, and Brian Sermon; and nine great-grandchildren. Emma Jean was employed for many years at Sarah Coventry in Newark. She and her husband Howard enjoyed camping, hiking, canoeing, biking and cross country skiing with their friends in Sodus. For 20 years they spent the month of August in New Hampshire, where they were often joined by friends. She loved playing Bridge and belonged to several Bridge Clubs. She enjoyed quilting and needlepoint, collecting light houses and antique dishes. Calling hours are Friday May 9, 2-5 p.m. at Norton Funeral Home in Sodus. Her funeral service will be Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Sodus Rural Cemetery, with a reception following at the church Fellowship Hall. Parsons, Hazel - Hazel Frances (Armstrong) Parsons, 93, died May 2, 2008, at the DeMay Living Center, Newark. Hazel was born June 6,1914, in Richfield Springs, daughter of Frank and Mary (Jones) Armstrong. She graduated from Richfield Springs Central School in 1933 and married Earl Richard Parsons on May 1, 1936 in Oneonta. He predeceased her on September 23, 2005. She is survived by three children: daughter Phyllis (John) Greene of Newark, two sons, Gene (Janet) Parsons of New Milford, CT, and Richard (Kathleen) Parsons of Laurens, NY; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Beverly Ritchko of Oneonta, Marilou (David) Stewart of New Hope, PA, and Josephine Parsons of Oneonta; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Harrie Armstrong, two sisters, Elda Sheldon and Eleanor Gravelding. Rooze, Doris - Doris M. Rooze, 91, of North Creek Road, Palmyra, died May 4, 2008. Doris was born Aug. 3, 1916 in Marion, daughter of Joseph and Susie Moose Orbaker. She was a long-time resident of Newark and lived in Palmyra for five years. Survived by two daughters; Shirley (Gene) Renckert, of Palmyra, and Barbara (Louis) Haitz of Fairville, a sister Mary (Fred) Gardner of Palmyra, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in 1977 by her husband Raymond J.; by sons Kenneth and John, and a daughter Diane; by brothers Arthur & Alvin Orbaker. Paliotti, Tony - Anthony P. Paliotti, 87, of Lyons died April 25, 2008 at DeMay Living Center. Tony was born April 9, 1921, in Lyons, son of Philip and Mary DeTorio Paliotti. He served in the Army during World War II in the MASH unit in the Pacific Theater. He worked in their appliance store, Philco Appliances, in his earlier years and operated Paliotti Shoe Store with his father for many years. He drove school bus for Lyons Central School for 39 years. He was a charter member of the Lyons VFW, where he served as commander and treasurer for many years. He was a member of the Lyons American Legion. He was a member of the Lyons Rotary, where he served as secretary. He was a member of St. Michael's Church. He played with the Drum & Bugle Corps and for the Apple Knockers. He served on the Lyons National Bank Board for over 30 years and was a member of the Lyons Chamber of Commerce. In February, he celebrated 64 years with his beloved wife, Marge, who died Feb. 12, 2008. He is survived by his son, Robert James (Ni) of Cambodia; brother, Phil (Mary) of Lyons; sister, Dorothy Maddox of Ft. Myers, FL; nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Marge; and sister, Phyllis Herley. Arrangements entrusted to Boeheim-Pusateri Funeral Home, Lyons. Interment is in South Lyons Cemetery. Ohmann, Myron - Myron Carmer Ohmann, 91, of Lyons died April 26, 2008. He was born August 24, 1916, in Lyons. He was a member for 79 years of the First Presbyterian Church of Lyons. A graduate of Lyons High School and St. Lawrence University, he did graduate work at Columbia University and Syracuse University. He was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he served from April 1941 to December 1945 in the Pacific Theater. He married Katherine Negus of Lyons in 1945. From 1945 to 1958, he and his brother, Robert, owned the Ohmann Brothers Jewelry Store and Theater in Lyons. He then taught mathematics at Williamson High School for 23 years. He loved to golf and was a member of Wayne Hills Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Ohmann, four children: Burt Ohmann and his wife, Susan, Sara Bush and her husband, Bill, Kathy Anderson and her husband, Dave, and Wendy Fowler and her husband Jim; 11 grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to The School of The Holy Childhood, or the Lyons Public Library.

Hotchkiss, Iva - Iva K. Hotchkiss, of Clyde, died April 28, 2008 at Clifton Springs Hospital. Friends may call April 30 (Wednesday), noon to 2, at Savannah Family of God Church. DePoint, Madelin - Madelin M. DePoint, 87, of Palmyra died April 23, 2008 at Clifton Springs Hospital. Madelin was born October 20, 1920, daughter of Peter and Anna Russell Pieters. She was married April 30, 1942 in East Palmyra to Isaac J. DePoint, Jr. She had worked for Garlock in Palmyra for over 30 years and was a former member of the Palmyra Kings Daughters. Madelin is survived by her son James DePoint of Palmyra; brother-in-law Jacob DePoint of Marion and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased August 3, 2002 by her husband Isaac; also by her sister Mary Levis. Family and friends are invited to call from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 at the Robert L. Hamelinck, Carolyn - Carolyn T. Hamelinck, 80, of Newark died unexpectedly at her home on April 21, 2008. She was born November 16, 1927 in Arcadia, daughter of the late Roy and Jessica Gregor Trask. She was a 1946 graduate of Newark High School. As a sales clerk, she worked for Ames in Newark for 30 plus years. She was a member of the Arcadia Senior Citizens and enjoyed playing cards every Wednesday. She traveled with the Port Gibson Senior Citizens and played Bingo player every Monday night at St. Michael Church. She enjoyed reading, and being with her grandchildren. She was an 18-year cancer survivor. She is remembered by her sons John Hamelinck and Paul Hamelinck, both of Newark; daughters Janet (Mahlon Butch) Lathrop of Palmyra and Lori (Daniel) Shippers of Sodus; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; brother Maurice Trask of Syracuse and sister Louisa Voyles of Arizona; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in 1987 by her husband John; in 2006 by granddaughter Jennifer Peck; in 2007 by her daughter-in-law Linda Hamelinck; and by siblings Ralph Trask and Etta Mae Rice. Fleig, Julie - Julie A. Fleig, 6, of Newark died April 17, 2008 at Clifton Springs Hospital. Julie was born July 13, 1946 in Rochester, daughter of the late Henry and Felicia Weidenborner Fleig. She will always be remembered by her brother William (Sue) Fleig of Maine, cousins in Rochester, and many friends of the Finger Lakes DDSO. Pieters, Larry - Lawrence Milton Pieters, 67, of Newark died April 17, 2008 at Clifton Springs Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. Larry was a member of Woodlane Community Church and was active with AA as a friend, sponsor and inspiration. He was the son of Milton and Jennie Pieters. Larry is survived by two daughters, Kristin and Kimberlee, and sons Joseph, Larry and Michael Briggs; his mother Jennie; sister Shirley (Stefan) Vogel and his brother Don; nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father. Calling hours are tomorrow, April 19 from 5-8:30 p.m. at Woodlane Community Church on Woodlane. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the church. Corteville, Ethel - Ethel M. Corteville, 96, of Newark, died April 5, 2008at the age of 96. Dolly, Patricia - Patricia A. Dolly, 66, formerly of Glenview Drive, Clifton Springs, died April 12, 2008. Patricia was born Dec. 6, 1941, in Brooklyn, and had worked at the Finger Lakes Gaming and Race Track in Farmington. She is survived by seven children; many grandchildren; and a very special friend, Linda Foster, of Phelps. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. Dibble, Jean - Jean M. (Buttaccio) Dibble, 64, of Newark, died April 13, 2008, at the House of John, after a long illness with cancer. Jean was born January 8, 1944 in Newark, daughter of Santo and Mae (DeSain) Buttacio. She was a graduate of Newark High School and Rochester Business Institute. She was a medical secretary for 35 years and worked for the Newark Medical Center, Clifton Springs Hospital and Midlakes Management. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, St. Michael's Altar & Rosary Society and the Red Hat Society. She was an avid traveler. Jean is survived by her brother, Ed (Betty) Buttacio of Newark; two nieces, Regina (John) Dressig of Wellsville and Heather (Calvin) Kuykendall of Newark; two nephews, Eric Buttaccio of Newark, and David and Charli Hand of Georgia; great-nieces, Andrea and Ashley Dressig; cousins, aunts, and many special friends. White, Wayne - Wayne Everett White, 59, of Sodus died April 13, 2008. Wayne was a lifelong resident of Sodus, and a Sodus fireman for many years. He is survived by his parents Everett and Rayma White; sons Rodney (Michele), Gerald (Christina), and James (Stephanie); grandchildren Heidi, Darien, Ashley and Kimmy; brothers Robert (Marilyn) and Dale (Anita); sister Cynthia Sawyer. Comella, Anthony - Anthony R. 'Tony' Comella, 87, of Newark, died April 11, 2008 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. Tony was born May 17, 1920, in Canandaigua the son of Philip and Mary Comella, who had settled in Newark, after arriving from Sicily. He was a 1939 graduate from the Washington High School in Newark. In the Army Air Corps as a Staff Sergeant, he served in World War II in the China, Burmese and India Theater. During that time, three of his other brothers also served. The Comella home at West Sherman Avenue in Newark proudly displayed a four-star banner. He is a member of the VFW Arcadia Memorial Post #2883. He had been employed for over 40 years, by the Bilotta Enterprises as an amusement machine repairman. He and his wife retired to Florida in 1994. He is survived by his daughter Diane (Jerold) Goldstein and their daughters Lindsey and Raegan of New Jersey; grandson Anthony (Elise) Comella and their sons John and Anthony of Newark; brother George (Vera) Comella of Newark; former daughter-in-law Donna Comella of Lyons; several nieces and nephews. Tony was predeceased in 2005 by his wife Dorothy, by a son Philip in 1994, and siblings Edward, Philip, Josephine and Michael. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday (April 18) at Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Burial will be in the Newark Cemetery, with full military honors.

Snedeker, Gretchen - Gretchen MacIntyre Snedeker, 24, of Rochester, was killed April 10, 2008, in an automobile accident in Madison County. She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and had lived and attended schools in Newark. She was a 2001 Newark graduate, known in the Newark district as a fine musician and actor. She was a candidate for a Master's Degree in horn performance at the Eastman School of Music. She leaves behind her beloved parents, Jay and Kathy (Kraus) Snedeker of Baldwinsville; fiance Andy Smith of Liverpool; maternal grandparents Terry and Joan Kraus of Howlett Hill and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Gretchen's family invites you to join them for a memorial walk at Beaver Lakes Nature Center in Baldwinsville, on Thursday, April 17, at 3 p.m. Please dress casually and appropriately for the weather. Craft, Vincent - Vincent W. Craft, 85, of Palmyra, died April 12, 2008. He was predeceased by his parents, siblings and a daughter. He is survived by his wife Jean, and son Mark (Carla) Craft, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Maxwell, Dick - Lowell 'Dick' Field Maxwell, Jr., 83, of Newark died April 7, 2008. He will be remembered by Marian Reed Maxwell, his loving wife of 49 years; daughters Nancy Ann (Richard) Ross of Newark and Susan (Robert) Gifford Jr. of Newark; grandchildren Courtney, Chelsea, Connor Ross, Michael and Devin Gifford; sister Mary Elizabeth Duckworth of Macedon; nieces and nephews. Dick was born the son of the late Lowell and Amy McCallister Maxwell on June 14, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from high school in Jamestown, NY. Dick worked for the American Canning Co., of Fairport in the quality control department, retiring in 1986. He also worked for the Big M and Bells in Newark. Dick was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church and the Newark Elks Lodge. He also was a member of the Newark Masonic Lodge, joining in 1960. Dick enjoyed bowling, gardening and camping. One of his greatest pleasures was singing, he was often ask to sing at weddings, churches and events in Newark. He was well known for this talent. Cook, Jerry - Gerald C. 'Jerry' Cook II, 70, of Palmyra died April 7, 2008. Jerry was born Nov. 14, 1937. He was a retiree of Mobil Chemical and G.W. Lisk and a longtime member of the Palmyra Moose Lodge. Jerry was predeceased by his wife Judith Cook; parents Chester and Blanche Cook and son-in-law Bruce Facer. Misleany, Michael - Michael Misleany Jr., 88, of Newark and Manchester, died April 8, 2008 at Clifton Springs Hospital. Michael was born November 26, 1919 in Shortsville, son of Michael and Mary Misleany Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving with the 5th Air Force (Army Air Corps) during World War II. In 1983, he retired from Texgas Co. in Manchester. He was a lifelong member and past commander of the Turner-Schrader Post 34 American Legion and a lifelong member of the Newark VFW. He is survived by his longtime companion, Joann Ulrich; daughters, Carol (Charles) Perrin, Charlene (Bernard) Commisso, Judy (Duane Lynn) Romeiser, and Deborah (Michael) Reed; son, Doug (Sharon) Cummings; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; ex-wife, Helene Misleany; sisters, Stephanie Hartsock of Elmira and Clara Meehan of Haines City, FL; and extended family, Christy Hughson, Karen Kelly, and Kathy, Kevin, & Kyle Ulrich and families. He was predeceased by his son, Michael D. Misleany; parents, Michael and Mary Misleany Sr.; brothers, John, Paul, Joseph, and Peter Misleany; and sisters, Mary Loy, Katherine Crans, and Anna Boylan. Herron, Carl H. - Carl Henry Herron, 82 died Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Family and friends may call Monday, April 7, 3-5 and 7-9 at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 8 at 12 noon at the First United Methodist Church in Newark. Mr. Herron was born the son of the late Milton and Dora Owens Herron on November 30, 1925 in Philadelphia, NY. As a young man he worked as a farmer in Watertown. In his later years he worked as an electrician on the St. Lawrence Seaway and then Mobil Chemical of Macedon for many years. Mr. Herron was a member of the Newark First United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee for many years and Newark Volunteer Fire Dept. Co. # 4 for 43 years. A past Master for the Boys Scouts and Cub Scouts and member of the Newark Masonic Lodge. He was past Master of the Bellville Masonic Lodge 637. Mr. Herron will be remembered by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years Verna Lester Herron; son Wayne (Nancy) Herron; daughters Wanda (Cal) Taft and Waiva Marie Freeman; grandchildren Todd (Janie) Freeman, Julie Freeman, Coleen Taft, Shayna Freeman, Beth Freeman, Jake Herron, Becca Herron and Drew Herron; great grandchildren Chantel McCrea, Makaila Taft, Zachary Freeman and Benjamin Freeman; brothers James (Nancy) Herron and Maurice Herron; many nieces and nephews. O'Bine, Ruth - Ruth S. O'Bine, 96, of Sodus, died April 3, 2008. She had been the owner of Ruth's Restaurant in Sodus for 25 years. She is survived by daughter Jeanne (Tom) Knapp; sons Ron (Janice), Jim (Frances), Robert, and Jerry (Sandra); 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her family would like to thank her friends and caregivers at the Wayne County Nursing Home, and special friend Pat Freer for the love, affection and special attention they all gave her. Niemiec, Stanley (Stanislaw) - Stanley (Stanislaw) Niemiec, 80, of Newark, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Family and friends may call Sunday, April 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A Funeral Mass will be Monday, April 7 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Church, Newark. Burial will follow in Newark Cemetery with full military honors. Stanley was born the son of the late Joseph and Salomea Maksymaika Niemiec on November 12, 1927 in Poland. He was brought to Germany during World War II. After the war he worked with the U.S. Army guarding munitions. There he learned to read and write English. At the Coburg Camp for Displaced Persons, he met his wife Eva. He came to the United States in 1949 and they became separated. He traced her through newspaper articles, rode a bus to Missouri to locate her and bring her back to Newark where they settled and worked for Jackson and Perkins Roses. He had attended RIT in Rochester after high school for one year. Having very a strong faith in the Catholic Church, he was a member of St. Michael Church in Newark. Stanley worked in the tool and die field with his last employer being Rogers Assoc. He was past Commander and Chaplain of the Newark American Legion. He carried the United States Flag with honor in parades. The funeral home proudly flies the Marine Corps flag in honor of his service to our country from 1952 - 1954. He loved to study Polish history, customs and culture. Stanley will be remembered by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Eva (Kuczminski) Niemiec; son Stanley (Sarah) Niemiec Jr. of CT.; daughter Teresa (David) Hendricks of Indiana; six grandchildren Nicholas, Jacob and Alyson Niemiec, Morgan, Brian and Jordan Hendricks; sister Teresa (Stanley) Humeniuk of Newark; one brother and one sister in Poland; many nieces and nephews; special friends of the family, Chris Herbert and Chris Jaworski both of Newark.

Spencer, Terry - Terence J. Spencer, 79, of Pultneyville, died April 1, 2008, after a long illness. Terry was born October 10, 1928 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the only child of James Allen Spencer and Kathryn (Duffey) Spencer. Terry graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa in 1950, with a B.A. degree in English. He earned his master's degree in speech and drama from Catholic University in Washington, DC, in 1954, and Ph.D. in English from Stanford University in Palo alto, California, in 1957. His academic appointments included the University of Wisconsin (Madison), University of Notre Dame, Catholic University of America, Rochester Institute of Technology, National University of Zaire, and King Saud University. A World War II and Korean war army Veteran, he also served the government as an independent consultant for Project Upward bound, as a Peace Corps. volunteer, and as a Foreign Service Officer. He had a life long interest in theater and the arts, and served in 1970 as the Executive Producer of Saint Albans Repertory Company in Washington DC His own play, 'Jonah' was produced off Broadway in 1967. Terry traveled the entire world, living and working in Zaire, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Papua New Guinea and Korea. He visited China, Antarctica, and the Galapagos Islands. He traveled extensively in Europe, Canada and the United States. After retirement, Terry served terms as Trustees/Executive Director of the Wayne County Historical Society and Trustee/President of the Pultneyville Historical Society. He contributed social-political, drama, and travel columns to the Wayne Weekly, Newark Courier-Gazette and the Williamson Sun and Record. Most recently, he served as a Trustee for the Williamson Public Library. He was active in local politics and a member of the Williamson American Legion Post 394 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6778 in Palmyra. Terry was predeceased by this first wife Elois (Wiren) Spencer in 1971. He is survived by his son, Geoffrey Spencer of Manchester, New Hampshire; daughter, Katherine (Dell) Hodges of Webster, NY, and granddaughter, Sarah Hodges of Buffalo, NY Friends are invited to call Friday, April 4th, from 4-7 PM at the Young Funeral Home, 4025 West Main Street, Williamson. Wachtman, Jean - Jean Elizabeth Wachtman, 84, died April 2, 2008. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Watkins of East Rochester, Kathy Wachtman of North Rose; three grandchildren, Lindsey, Thomas, and Rebecca Watkins. She was retired from Xerox. She was a WAVE in the Navy during World War II. She was predeceased in 1989 by her husband Walter Arrangements entrusted to Boeheim & Pusateri Funeral Home, Lyons.
