Bagpipes at the Lighthouse Bagpipe fans will want to mark their calendars for Sunday, Aug. 24, when the Rochester Scottish Bagpipe Band performs at the Sodus Point Lighthouse Museum, 7606 Ontario St., Sodus Point, Wayne County. This 3 p.m. concert is free and the public is invited to attend. Stretch out on a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the haunting echo of the pipes. The Lighthouse Museum and gift shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day. Admission is free; donations are graciously accepted. Volunteers of the Sodus Bay Historical Society will grill red and white hot dogs or Italian sausage for your picnicking pleasure. Ice cold lemonade and soft drinks, hot buttered popcorn and ice cream bars are also available. The Rochester Scottish Bagpipe Band concert is the second to the last in the free concert series. The final concert takes place on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. with Krazy Firemen. Copyright
