 Hussey and Lewis defend titles at Marion Mile Mark Hussey and Rebecca Lewis, star runners for Marion High's Cross Country Team are expected to defend their title at the 2nd annual Marion Mile. The Marion Mile will be held at 9 a.m. August 23 during Marion's Heritage Day celebration. It will start across from the Marion Post Office, continue through the back streets of Marion, and end at the Marion Branch of the M&T Bank. Although a good competitive run is expected, the race is short enough so that all family members can participate. A nominal entry fee of $2 ($5 for a family of three or more) goes to benefit the Marion Food Pantry.
