Blacksmith shop, built by James Harvey after 1828 when the District School was demolished.
This shop adjoined to the south the Curtis Homestead and stood until 1910 when it was demolished to make room for the Second Reformed Church.
Blacksmithing and wagon making was the business of James Curtis and his sons, James and Brainard.
