This old
blacksmith shop was located on Mill Street, on property now belonging to the Second
Reformed Church of Marion. Pictured are Frank LeRoy, Henry Lybert, Jacob LeRoy and Bert
Gravelle. Bert's wife was Mary LeRoy, sister of Frank and Jacob. Jacob's daughter, Enid
(LeRoy) Fisher of Williamson, donated the photo to the Marion Historian's files.
The sign in the right rear of the shop alerts patrons that Wool Fat is for sale:
A positive cure and absolute specific for horse hoofs, sore shoulders, scartcher, grease heel, thrush (and three other horse ailments obsured by the machinery).
