Located in north-central Wayne County is the Town of Sodus. Bordered by Lake Ontario, the town is rich with history, patterned with blossoming fruit orchards and dotted with cobblestone architecture.

Sodus is one of two towns in Wayne County which has two villages - the Village of Sodus and the Village of Sodus Point. It also has several hamlets, including Sodus Center, Wallington, and Alton, and celebrations are found everywhere - Salmon Derbies, the Bog & Grog, Firemen's Days, Fourth of July Gala, Shaker Days ...

fireworksSodus Point and the Sodus Bay are surrounded by fine restaurants, bed & breakfast inns, marinas, antique and gift shops, beaches, and, of course, great fishing and boating.

The Sodus Town Chamber of Commerce is an active group, as is the Sodus Garden Club and the Great Sodus Bay Association.

There is a Shaker farm/homestead and farm markets on nearly every road. Antique shops can be found in nearly every hamlet. The area is fertile ground for history buffs, who can visit the Wallington Cobblestone School, the Lighthouse Museum, the Sodus Center Brick Church, or the old Sodus Hotel.
