Wolcott, NY Hometown Page The Town of Wolcott is located in the far northeast corner of Wayne County. The Town borders Lake Ontario and is part of your scenic journey as you travel New York State's Seaway Trail. The Town has two villages: Wolcott and Red Creek. According to the U.S. 1990 census,
the town's population totaled 4,283 (1,544 of which Recreation and culture: Wolcott is home to the Port Bay Golf Club, the Seaway Studios
Fine Arts & Crafts Gallery, and Wolcott Falls Park. Because of it's lakeshore
boundary, you'll find many places to camp, fish, and dock or rent a boat. Stay the night
at one of the many Bed & Breakfast Inns, or just stop for the day at one of many
picnic areas. Marinas and restaurants line the lake coast.
